Oppo launched the K12 in China in April, and a year later, they have now released the K12s. This new model isn’t a brand-new phone but basically the Oppo K13 from India with a few changes. It now has NFC, more storage options, and an extra color choice. In this piece of article, we will discuss the Oppo K12s, including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.

      Oppo K12s Overview

      Design and Display

Oppo K12s measures 163.21 × 76.13 × 8.45mm and weighs 208 grams, which makes it fairly light for its size. For added convenience and security, it includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.

Up front, you’ll see a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a crisp Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Not just that, it supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. You can pick this phone in three stylish color choices: Rose Purple, Prism Black, and Star White.

      Performance and Battery

Powering the phone is an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, which works alongside the Adreno 810 GPU to deliver solid everyday performance. It’s available in 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM variants, with internal storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and even 512GB UFS 3.1. That’s impressive considering it’s aimed at mid-range users. It supports dual SIM, and on the software side, you’ll get Android 15 right out of the box, layered with ColorOS 15.

The most surprising feature is the massive 7000mAh battery, which is further complemented by 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. This combo is rare and really boosts its value in the segment.

      Camera and Features

As for photography, the Oppo K12s comes with a 50MP main camera (f/1.8 aperture) that takes detailed shots, plus a 2MP monochrome sensor (f/2.4). While the secondary sensor may feel unnecessary, the LED flash and 4K video recording make up for it. On the front, there's a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
      Oppo K12s Features
In terms of connectivity, this phone comes with a 5G (SA/NSA) to Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, and even NFC. That NFC support is a great touch, especially for mobile payments.
