Poco Buds X1 is now official with up to 40dB ANC

Poco launched new earbuds alongside the M6 Plus 5G and they come with active noise cancellation among other things. In this article, we will look into the Poco Buds X1 in further detail while also guessing what its price in Nepal might be.

Design and Audio

The Poco Buds X1 comes in a single Titanium colour option which is a mix between grey and yellow. These buds have an in-ear fit and the silicon tips are translucent. The charging case looks pretty standard and has an LED strip as an indicator. Additionally, the buds are IP54 water and dust resistant while the charging case does not enjoy any such luxury. They pack a 12.4mm dynamic driver with a titanium diaphragm to deliver the audio. Most interestingly, these buds offer active noise cancellation of up to 40dB along with transparency mode. Additionally, the Poco Buds X1 is equipped with four mics that are utilised to suppress ambient and wind noise during calls. These buds also come with multiple EQ modes including Standard, Enhance Treble, Enhance Voice, Enhance Bass, and a customisable one.

Features and the rest

Apart from the audio, the Poco Buds X1 offers pretty decent features too. They come with Bluetooth v5.3 and Google Fast Pair for stable and seamless connectivity with your smartphone. The latter only works with Android devices. These buds feature touch controls which you can customise through the Xiaomi Earbuds app. You can tap into other functions and further customise the buds in the app. Moreover, these buds support audio sharing feature as well. This means two Poco Buds X1 can be connected to a single device such that music can be streamed simultaneously on both of them. In terms of battery, you are getting a 45mAh cell on each one of these buds and a larger 480mAh unit in the charging case. The buds are capable of seven hours of independent playback and the number jumps to 36 hours when factoring the case. The Poco Buds X1 comes with a USB Type-C charging interface and offers two hours of usage even when you plug it in for a mere ten minutes.

These buds were launched on 1 August 2024, however, the shipping will only start four days later. It has been priced at INR 1,699. If and when they arrive in Nepal, we expect the Poco Buds X1 price to be NPR 3,299.
