POCO M7 Plus 5G is official with a 144Hz display and a massive 7,000 mAh battery

POCO has expanded its M7 lineup, which already includes POCO M7 5G and POCO M7 Pro, with the launch of the new POCO M7 Plus 5G. This new devices from POCO bring a lot of new impressive features and upgrades from its predecessor, POCO M6 Plus. So, in this article, we will discuss the specifications, features, and expected price of POCO M7 Plus 5G in Nepal.

Design and Display

For the design, the all-new POCO M7 Plus comes with a sharp, angular finish at the back. The phone weighs around 217 grams and even comes with IP64 dust and water resistance. While it is available in “Chrome Silver”, “Aqua Blue”, and “Carbon Black” colors. And for security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

In terms of the display, the POCO M7 Plus comes with a massive 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The panel also supports a fast refresh rate of 144Hz, which is quite rare in this segment. This display has 700 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 as well.

Performance and Camera

For performance, the POCO M7 Plus comes with the Snapdragon 6s Gen3 SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 Storage. This device also features 8GB of additional virtual RAM and supports expandable memory up to 1TB via SD card.

Whereas the POCO M7 Plus 5G brings a 50MP rear camera, along with a secondary camera. And at the front, we have an 8MP selfie shooter. The phone runs Android 15 with HyperOS on top. It will get 2 Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates.

It will be available for purchase from August 19, and there is also an INR 1,000 bank discount up for grabs. If it launches here, we expect the price of the POCO M7 Plus in Nepal to start at around 24,999.
