Design and Display 

The new MacBook Pro 14-inch retains the design introduced in 2021. It features a casing made from 100% recycled aluminum. The dimensions are 1.55 cm * 31.26 cm * 22.12 cm, with a weight of 1.6 kg for the M4 Pro model. Customers can choose between two color options: Silver and Space Black. The device is equipped with a Liquid Retina XDR display. It supports a sustained brightness of 1000 nits and peaks at 1600 nits for HDR content. The display also offers ProMotion technology, allowing for adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz.

Processor and Camera

This MacBook Pro features the M4 Pro chip with up to a 14-core CPU, 20-core GPU, 48GB of unified memory, and 4TB of storage. The device comes with a 12MP Center Stage camera. This feature ensures that the user remains centered during video calls. Additionally, the camera supports Desk View.

Ports and Memory

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro includes three Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports, MagSafe 3, HDMI, an SDXC card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This is an increase from two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports in the base M3 model. The base memory has been upgraded to 16GB, up from 8GB in the previous model. On the Pro or Max variant, the Type-C ports are faster than Thunderbolt 5s with up to 120 Gbps speeds, which are over 3x quicker than the Thunderbolt 4 ports.
