      The 2020 MacBook Pro M1 retains the classic design of previous MacBooks with an aluminum build in a compact size. But the performance gains provided by the M1 chip allow for an efficient workflow, while also significantly increasing the laptop's battery life. Furthermore, unlike the MacBook Air M1, it has a fan installed inside the chassis, allowing it to do more resource-intensive activities while keeping the thermals in check. The front bezels around the screen may appear dated, but you will certainly like its Magic keyboard and trackpad. Above the keyboard is a TouchBar that displays shortcuts which might be beneficial depending on the apps you're using. The MacBook Pro M1 has been succeeded by the MacBook Pro M2 in 2022. Except for the processor bump, it keeps the core specifications of its predecessor and has a comparable starting price of USD 1,299.
