Design and Display

The Vivobook 14X has a premium-looking and sleek design for the hardware it packs. It features a military-grade design with a metal lid while remaining compact and lightweight. Weighing just around 1.4kg, it is easy to carry around and available in 2 colour options: Indie Black and Cool Silver.

The 14-inch display is an IPS LCD panel of WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution. It covers 45% of the NTSC colour gamut and has an aspect ratio of 16:10. The 60Hz screen is a non-touch matte display that can reach a peak brightness of 300 nits.

Performance and Memory

Asus Vivobook 14X (2023) is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor. It has 14 cores (8 Efficiency + 6 Performance) and 20 Threads with a max boost frequency of 5.4 GHz. On the GPU front, it features integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. VivoBook 14X ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory which cannot be upgraded any further. You also get 1TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD which you can switch in for recent PCIe 4.0 SSD as well. However, you’ll have to sacrifice half the storage for it.

Battery and Connectivity

In the tank, the Asus VivoBook 14X has a 3-cell 50 Wh Lithium Polymer battery. You also get the 90W adapter in the box to charge the whole thing. You also get a backlit chicklet keyboard with 1.4mm key travel. Furthermore, you also get a 720p webcam with a privacy shutter alongside a built-in speaker and a microphone with SonicMaster.

For wired connections, you get 2 USB Type-A ports, a single USB-C port, and an HDMI slot. Moreover, you also get a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack for your audio needs. Alongside that, you get WIFI 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 technology.
