Design and Display
The iPhone 13 Pro has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2532 x 1170. This time, the company has also included a 120Hz refresh rate, which Apple refers to as a ‘ProMotion‘ display. With this tech onboard, the screen can refresh from 10-120Hz depending on the content on the screen.
Moreover, the device features an oleophobic coating that repels fingerprints and smudges, and the front and back are both protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is also water and dust resistant, with an IP68 rating.
Performance
All the smartphones in iPhone 13 series are powered by an Apple A15 Bionic processor. However, the Pro and non-Pro models differ little in this aspect. While it is built on the same 5nm node and has a 6-core CPU, the silicon in Pro-variant boasts a 5-core GPU.
Memory-wise, the device is available with up to 1TB of storage. Likewise, iPhone 13 Pro Max gets its juice from a 3,095mAh cell that supports 20W wired and 15W MagSafe wireless charging.
Camera, Others
On the rear, there’s a triple camera setup, each with a 12MP lens. As per Apple, the main sensor captures 2.2x more light than the iPhone 12 Pro and is the biggest sensor in an iPhone to date. The ultrawide sensor also works better in low-light circumstances as it can capture 92% more light.
Likewise, the telephoto sensor supports 3x optical zoom. Last but not the least, for selfies, there’s a 12MP camera inside a ‘bathtub’ style notch.
Rest of the specifications include WiFi 6 (802.11ax), 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, e-SIM (dual), GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou. For audio, the smartphone has a built-in speaker.
