Design and Display

The Redmi Note 17 Pro features a flat-edge design with a plastic frame and a clean, square camera island in a matte finish. For high-level durability, it carries flagship-grade IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust- and water-resistance ratings. It is available in four color options: Clear Blue, Purple, White, and Black.

Up front, it boasts a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1280) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches an impressive peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits, features 3,840Hz PWM-DC dimming for eye protection, and includes Wet Hand Touch 2.0 technology.

Performance and Camera

The handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor (4nm), which delivers reliable everyday performance and power efficiency. Out of the box, it runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Storage and memory configurations offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro equips a dual rear setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor ($f/1.8$) paired with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, it carries an 8MP hole-punch camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery and Extras

Keeping the device running is a massive 9,000mAh battery that easily lasts over two days of regular use. It supports 67W wired HyperCharge to quickly juice up the cell, as well as 22.5W reverse wired charging to charge accessories or other phones in an emergency. Extra features include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.
