Design, Display

Xiaomi 12X flaunts a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 12-bit color depth. The screen here boasts a refresh rate of 120Hz, is compatible with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision formats, and can reach a peak brightness of 1100 nits. On the front, Xiaomi has included a Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Xiaomi 12X is no different from other 12-series smartphones in terms of design. It features the same glass sandwich body with a rectangular rear camera module that houses a triple camera array. The device is fairly slim and lightweight at 8.2mm and 176 grams, respectively. Xiaomi 12X is available in three colors configurations—Grey, Blue, and Purple.

Performance

Powering the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. As a result, it should perform admirably in your daily chores and while gaming. To help the chip sustain high performance over long gaming sessions, Xiaomi has included a LiquidCool technology. It features a Vapor Chamber and three graphite sheets that dissipate heat to keep the core temperature low. The base variant of the Xiaomi 12X features 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is also a 256GB variant of the phone with the same amount of RAM.

Camera, Others

Moving on, there are three cameras on the back of the Xiaomi 12X: a 50MP primary lens, a 13MP ultrawide (123° FOV), and a 5MP telephoto lens. The primary camera has Optical Image Stabilization for steadier shots and footage. Likewise, you can record up to 8K videos at 24 fps using the rear camera. Over on the front, there is a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.5 aperture. it is capable of recording up to 1080 60 fps videos. Fueling the Xiaomi 12X is a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Thankfully, Xiaomi does ship the compatible charger inside the box. However, the device still boots on Android 11-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
