TCL's Augmented Reality (XR) brand RayNeo has officially announced its RayNeo Air 4 Pro AR glasses to the global market at CES 2026. This wearable was previously launched in China as RayNeo Air 4 on October 23 and is now positioned as the world’s first HDR10-enabled AR glasses available globally. In this article, I will cover everything you need to know about the RayNeo Air 4, including its features and expected price.
RayNeo Air 4 Pro Overview:
Design and Experience
Talking about the design, the RayNeo Air 4 Pro features a streamlined frame with a black sunglasses-like aesthetic. It weighs approximately 76 grams with adjustable nose pods, making it lightweight and suitable for extended use.
Talking about the experience of these glasses, the Air 4 Pro creates a personal cinema-like experience using a 201-inch virtual screen at a 5-meter viewing distance. RayNeo Air 4 Pro uses a 5.5-generation micro-OLED display that covers 145% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3, with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
They have also worked hard on audio and teamed up with the famous audio brand Bang & Olufsen (B&O) to tune a new four-speaker system, now powered by independent DAC drivers and Ultra-large polymer diaphragms. As a result, we get a cleaner, deeper sound with an optional sound guide fin that directs audio straight to the ear, cutting sound loss by 80%.
Talking about the performance, at the heart of the RayNeo Air 3 is the all-new Vision 4000 image quality processor, co-developed with Pixelworks, a company known for its display processing technology. This is also RayNeo’s first customized AR chip, which unlocks HDR10 support, AI HDR, and 3D video capabilities for the first time in glasses.
The Vision 4000 delivers up to 1200 nits of brightness and supports 1.07 billion colors. The glasses can also automatically convert standard HDR content for a more lifelike visual. The Air 4’s new AI 3D engine also allows users to transform 2D videos into 3D with a single tap.
Connectivity and Compatibility
Talking about the connectivity, the all-new Air 4 Pro connects via a USB-C to devices with display output capabilities, such as Android, PCs, Macs, and even handheld consoles.
RayNeo Air 4 Pro Availability and Price in Nepal
RayNeo Air 4 Pro starts at USD 299 in the US. Availability is confirmed for major global markets for January 25, but I am very skeptical that it will ever make it to Nepal.
