Realme 13+ launched with Dimensity 7300 chip and VC cooling

Realme has finally taken the curtains off the Realme 13+, a new budget midrange phone with Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC. In this article, we'll walk through the specs, features, and expected price of the Realme 13 Plus in Nepal.

Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Realme 13 Plus boasts a flat frame body with an ultra-slim thickness of 7.6mm. dual-tone rear back. The camera module resembles a typical Realme vibe with a circular shape. In terms of ingress protection, it secures an IP65 rating against dust and water resistance. Plus, the cushioning protection structure provides it additional strength against drops. Realme ships this guy in three colors: Victory Gold, Speed Green, and Dark Purple. As for the display, a Samsung E4 OLED is stretching at 6.7 inches diagonally with a 120Hz refresh rate, 180Hz of touch  1200 HBM, and 2000 peak brightness. Thanks to the Rainwater Smart Touch tech, it is also good to go with your wet hands.

Performance

Powering the core of the Realme 13+ is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 "Energy" chipset. This 5G SoC has been created with the collaboration of Realme and Mediatek. It gets a 4nm fabrication with four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. Meanwhile, the graphics are handled by a Mali-G615 GPU. It is paired with 812GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Likewise, to keep the thermals in check, there is a stainless steel vapor chamber cooling. Realme has claimed 90 fps gaming for PUBG/BGMI, Free Fire, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Honor of Kings (120fps), and Call of Duty Mobile. And on top of that, the phone also has a TUV Lagfree Gaming certificate. Meanwhile, the phone boots on Realme UI 5.0 built on top of Android 14.

Camera

Getting to the optics, the Realme 13 Plus sports a triplecamera setup. It is headlined by a Sony LYT-600 50MP sensor (OIS) with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP monochrome camera, and an unspecified AI unit. Upfront, there is a 16MP snapper for taking selfies and video calls.

Battery, Charging, and Others

Moving on, fueling the smartphone is a 5000mAH battery with 80W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, VoNR, WiFi 6, GPS, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. Lastly, you get an indisplay fingerprint scanner for biometrics security.
