      Realme 16 Pro Overview:

      Design and Display

Beginning with the design, the Realme 16 Pro follows the brand’s Urban Wild Design, created with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Unlike the Pro+’s bio-based silicone back, the 16 Pro has a velvet matte finish. It comes in Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and Orchid Purple. Despite being a lower tier, it maintains durability with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust- and water-resistance.

The front of the phone features a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Security is provided by an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and there is also an infrared sensor.

      Performance

Powering the Realme 16 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max (4nm) chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. While it sits below the Snapdragon-powered Pro+ in raw performance, it is still well-suited for everyday multitasking, gaming, and media consumption.

In terms of software, the phone runs on realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, bringing some AI features under Realme’s NEXT AI ecosystem, including AI Translation, AI Gaming Coach, and Google Gemini Live integration. Keeping the thermals in check is the AirFlow VC cooling system.

      Camera and Battery

Photography remains a key focus on the Realme 16 Pro. It features a 200MP primary camera with a Samsung HP5 sensor, OIS, and an f/1.8 aperture. Instead of a periscope lens, the phone uses Realme’s Golden Portrait Lens Kit for focal-length switching to deliver consistent portrait results.

Likewise, the secondary camera is an 8MP ultrawide, while the front-facing camera is 50MP and capable of recording up to 4K video at 30fps. Imaging features include Vibe Master Mode with 21 customized tones, five portrait styles, AI Edit Genie, and AI-based lighting and styling tools.

Fueling the device is a massive 7,000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast wired charging. This large battery capacity is one of the standout features of the Realme 16 Pro, promising long-lasting performance even under heavy usage.
