Featuring an overclocked 4.74GHz chip and massive battery life, the 11S Pro series might just be the perfect companion for competitive mobile gamers.

ZTE has officially introduced the RedMagic 11S series with a few upgrades to its 11 Pro lineup. The 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ have arrived with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, improved cooling, and a larger battery while keeping the same gamer-centric design as the older 11 Pro model.
The series focuses on refining gaming performance and battery endurance over anything else. So in this article, I will discuss everything you need to know about the RedMagic 11S series, including its specs, features, availability, and expected price in Nepal.
RedMagic 11S Pro Series Overview
What’s new in the series?
Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip
The highlight upgrade of the RedMagic 11S Pro series is the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version processor. While based on the same flagship platform, the prime core is tuned to reach a higher peak CPU speed of up to 4.74GHz, up from the standard 4.61GHz found in the 11 Pro.

This results in more stable frame rates and slightly better sustained performance during heavy gaming sessions.
Battery and cooling upgrades
The RedMagic 11S Pro series also brings changes in battery capacity and thermal management. The 11S Pro packs a larger 8,000mAh battery paired with 80W wired charging, for longer gaming sessions, while the 11S Pro+ comes with the same 7,500mAh battery as its predecessor with faster 120W wired charging. Likewise, both phones support 80W wireless charging.

On the cooling side, the 11S Pro+ has a dual cooling setup, which features both a physical cooling fan and a pulsating liquid cooling system to keep the temperature under control during heavy gaming. Meanwhile, the standard 11S Pro only includes the internal cooling fan without the liquid cooling system.
What remains familiar?
Design and Display
Talking about the design, the RedMagic 11S series features a similar bold, gamer-centric look with a transparent-style back, RGB lighting, and built-in shoulder triggers as its predecessor, the 11 Pro. Both models are available in Silver Wing and Dark Night color options.

Camera and Extras
For optics, the RedMagic 11S series has the same dual-camera setup. On the back, you get a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens. On the front, it features a 16MP under-display camera to maintain the full-screen gaming experience.
The RedMagic 11S series also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is now rare to see on flagship smartphones, and has an IPX8 water resistance rating. On the software side, it ships with RedMagic OS 11.5 based on Android 16 out of the box.

Should you go for the RedMagic 11S Pro series?
If you already own the RedMagic 11 Pro, the 11S series may not feel like a huge upgrade for everyday use. Still, if you want the faster chipset, better cooling, or the larger 8,000mAh battery on the standard 11S Pro might find it worth considering.
However, if you’re upgrading from an older phone or want a dedicated gaming device, the 11S series offers better gaming performance and battery life while keeping the same gamer-focused experience intact.
