Xiaomi’s Redmi Buds 8 Pro is official with updated audio specs

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Buds 8 Pro at MWC 2026. The earbuds are the successor to the Redmi Buds 6 Pro, now with updated audio and connectivity. This article will discuss everything about the latest Redmi Buds 8 Pro, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Design and Audio

They come with silicone ear tips and a protruding stem design. The earbuds have an IP54 rating, making them resistant to dust and water. It comes in Obsidian Black, Glacier Blue, and Cloud White colors.

The Buds 8 Pro have a triple-driver system. And they support Dolby Audio, spatial audio with head tracking, and wireless Hi-Res Audio through the LDAC codec. Similarly, these budget earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation, which has been increased to 55dB, and the frequency range now goes up to 5kHz. Similarly, there’s an immersive mode that combines ANC and environmental noise reduction.

Calls and Connectivity

Each earbud has three microphones and AI-based noise reduction for calls. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4 and Google Fast Pair. They can connect to two devices at the same time, and audio sharing works across Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices.

For the battery, Redmi has provided 8 hours per charge in these buds, with 33 hours total using the case. Similarly, fast charging gives two hours of playback after five minutes. Other than that, the device has the usual features, including a USB-C port and a battery indicator light strip.
