Smartphone manufacturers do not bundle a charger in the box anymore, which is why you have to purchase one separately. Samsung isn’t indifferent to this trend, and because Samsung is such a popular choice in Nepal — the company’s charger is quite in demand. Here I have listed the price of Samsung charger available in Nepal.

Samsung Charger Price in Nepal [Updated 2024]

Internationally, Samsung manufactures all sorts of devices and accessories. However, only smartphones have the widest presence in Nepal. Hence, the widely available chargers are for smartphones. Samsung has two types of chargers in Nepal — Super Fast Charging and Super Fast Charging 2.0.

Super Fast Charging Adapter

This is the most widely applicable Samsung charger capable of 25W output. It supports PD protocol as well. Apart from select flagship options, the majority of Samsung phones are capped at a charging speed of 25W. This includes the likes of the base Galaxy S24, Z Fold6, and Z Flip6, all of which are flagship phones.

It comes with a USB-C port, so you will have to use a USB-C to USB-C cable that supports at least 25W of power transfer to get optimum results. Meanwhile, this is the same charger that Samsung Nepal has been bundling with their recent launches. This means that if you are getting a new Samsung phone, you will likely get this charger for free. Otherwise, you will have to drop NPR 1,999 for the Super Fast Charging Adapter.

Super Fast Charging 2.0 Adapter

This charger looks and feels the same, except it is rated for a charging speed of 45W. Given that, the Super Fast Charging 2.0 adapter is only suitable for a handful of top-of-the-line devices. Samsung introduced 45W charging with the Galaxy Note 10+ back in 2019 and has reserved it for its most premium devices. However, it does not include folding phones for some bizarre reason.

Getting this adapter only makes sense if you own any of these devices: Note 10+, Note 10+ 5G, S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, S22+, S22 Ultra, S23+, S23 Ultra, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Talking of the price, these chargers cost NPR 5,499.

What about third-party chargers?

You can absolutely use third-party chargers for your Samsung phones. In fact, it is easier to get a third-party charger for your Samsung phone since it works with the Power Delivery protocol. Just make sure to choose one that has an output of 25W or 45W, depending on the device you are using. In the meantime, if your Samsung phone supports wireless charging, then it is with the Qi interface — capped at 15W.

Nevertheless, choosing reputable brands like Anker, Aukey, etc. is always better than picking one from a random one off the street that no one has ever heard of. This is because they are more reliable and take safety aspects more seriously. The same goes for wireless chargers and power banks too.

Is Samsung GaN Charger available?

Samsung also has a GaN charger in its catalogue, which is slimmer and more efficient than the traditional one. But sadly, they are not available in Nepal — as of now. Hopefully, that will not be the case in the future.

Where to buy a Samsung Charger in Nepal?

You can buy a Samsung charger through authorised stores of Samsung Nepal like Samsung Plaza and Him Electronics. You can also opt to visit reputed channels like the Hukut Store where you can find branded third-party chargers too.

These chargers can be bought online or at the physical store. You could visit whatever store is near you to enquire about the availability as well.
