Samsung Galaxy A34 Launching soon in Nepal

Alongside the Galaxy A54, Samsung is launching the Galaxy A34 in Nepal on March 29. It is the refresh of the A33 from last year and will be priced under Rs. 50,000 in Nepal. Here, we will walk through the specs, features, availability, and expected price of the Samsung Galaxy A34 in Nepal.

Design

The Galaxy A34 brings a slightly different design from its predecessor. Although Samsung is keeping the waterdrop-style notch of the Galaxy A33, the back panel is refreshed to include three separate cutouts for cameras. The design is more in-line with the new Galaxy S23 Series. For protection against dust and water splashes, the phone comes with an IP67 rating.

On the front, the smartphone flaunts a 6.6-inch AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also infuses an under-display fingerprint reader for biometrics. The Galaxy A34 comes with a plastic back and in three color options: Awesome Silver with a prism pattern, Awesome Lime, and Awesome Graphite with a hazy design.

Performance

Performance-wise, the smartphone gets its horsepower from a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. Based on a 6nm node, this 5G silicon has two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.6 GHz for performance and six Cortex-A55 units at 2 GHz for efficiency.

Memory-wise, you can choose up to 256GB of internal storage with 8GB of RAM. Similarly, the phone boots on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 out-of-the-box. Samsung is providing 4 years of major OS updates alongside 5 years of security patch updates on the A34.

Camera

Moving on, the Galaxy A34 consists of a triple camera setup headlined by a 48MP primary sensor. The sensor also has OIS support and is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies, you get a 13MP sensor upfront.

As for the battery, the phone is stuffed with a 5000mAh cell that recharges via a 25W adapter. There’s a dual stereo-speaker setup for audio with Dolby Atmos. And the A34 also enjoys a privacy dashboard, Voice Focus, Samsung Knox security, and Samsung Wallet as well. Likewise, 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and a USB-Type C port are the connectivity options for the smartphone.
