Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S26 series along with a refreshed lineup of earbuds. Among them is the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4, designed with comfort, improved audio, and smarter controls in mind. First and foremost, Samsung has reworked the case for the Galaxy Buds 4 so the earbuds lie flat, making them easier to retrieve and store. The transparent lid offers a glimpse of the earbuds without fully opening the case.

In terms of design, buds feature a semi-in-ear body. You get flat stems here that also feature touch-sensitive areas with pinch-and-swipe controls, making it easier to adjust playback or volume.

Audio and ANC

In terms of audio, the Buds 4 is powered by an 11 mm wide-range driver, delivering balanced sound from controlled bass to clear highs. With this setup, it can also deliver 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Fi sound via Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC). The ANC is slightly weaker than on the Pro variant, as expected. Likewise, the buds support Super Clear Call technology via a six-mic array for clearer voice qualityduring calls.

Battery and Others

Each earbud houses a 43 mAh battery, while the charging case carries a 500 mAh cell, providing up to 7 hours of playtime on a single charge and up to 29 hours with the case. You can charge this thing USB Type-C or wirelessly. Lastly, it supports Bluetooth 6.1, and Galaxy users can pair instantly without an app.
