So Sip & Zap showed up on Shark Tank Nepal recently, and it’s basically a water bottle that also charges your phone, works as a stand, and even has a flashlight. Design and Build

Looks like a regular insulated bottle at first, but the lid’s where all the tech hides. There’s a 5000mAh battery inside that can wirelessly charge your phone. It’s made from food-grade aluminum, has a corrosion-resistant finish, and even packs a small flashlight. The lid also works as a magnetic phone stand, which, according to them, is handy if you’re watching videos or on a call.

Charging and Extra Stuff

In terms of charging, it can charges both Android and iOS devices wirelessly. But I think you should be generally aware that it might not be a fast charger you can charge your phone with. It’s just worth noting, it can be a convenience for those who spend in gym for decent amount of time. In addition you also get a stand feature, which will apparently make it easy to keep your phone propped up while it’s charging.

Is It Actually Unique?

That’s where things get a bit shaky. Quick research shows there are already bottles out there that have wireless charging and even built-in power banks. Some have insulation, too. What Sip & Zap really does is throw all those features together in one device. So yeah, it’s a neat combo, but calling it totally unique might be a stretch.

I think its worth asking whether this is “innovation” or just a clever mash‑up, which can be even deemed as useful? Sure, a bottle that charges your phone sounds handy, and maybe plenty of people would find a use for it in the right situation. But would most of us actually carry and use this every day? Personally, it doesn’t feel that essential for my lifestyle, even though I can see how it could be useful to some—maybe even many—when the right moment comes.
