Not long after launching the regular Spark 20, and the affordable Spark 20C, Tecno has now followed up with the Pro variant of the smartphone. This smartphone has a 108 MP camera, and Helio G99 processor, packed in an iPhone-esque design. This article will discuss the Tecno Spark 20 Pro, its specifications, price in Nepal, and more.

Tecno Spark 20 Pro Overview

Design and Display

Similar to its series’ siblings, the Spark 20 Pro follows a similar design blueprint with heavy inspiration from iPhones. It has a squircle camera island on the back with three camera cutouts. In the meantime, you get four different colour options: Moonlit Black, Frosty Ivory, Sunset Blush, and Magic Skin 2.0 Green. All these options except for the latest one have a glossy finish and diagonal patterns on the back. Whereas the green one has a leather finish with a groovy texture.

On the front, we have a 6.78-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also an FHD+ display with a 1,080 x 2,460 pixels resolution. Tecno has, however, opted to remain silent about the type of panel used in the Spark 20 Pro. Furthermore, it packs all this in an IP53-certified design.

Performance

Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. It is a 6nm chipset with eight cores that peaks at 2.2 GHz clock speed. It also comes together with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Moreover, it will be assisted by memory and storage configurations of up to 8 GB and 256 GB. Herein, it also offers an additional 8 GB of virtual memory expansion. On the software side of things, it comes with HiOS 13 based on Android 13.

Camera and the rest

In terms of optics, it comes with three cameras on the back — the primary of which is a 108-megapixel shooter. Tecno has not spoken anything in terms of the two auxiliary units that are paired with the main camera. Meanwhile, on the front, we have a 32 MP camera for selfies.

Powering everything is a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging capability. It comes with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and 4G cellular support for wireless connectivity. Meanwhile, we have to make do with the USB Type-C port for wired connections. It also comes with stereo speakers with DTS audio processing. In addition, it comes with various software features like Social Turbo, App Twins, AI Tips, and AI wallpaper. Lastly, going hard on the iPhone theme, Tecno also offers a “Dynamic Port” with the Spark 20 Pro.
