Tecno just unveiled the MegaPad Pro at IFA 2025. This 12-inch tablet, as Tecno calls it an ‘Essential AI Tablet’, is at the same time a “think study aid, productivity tool, and AI assistant all in one.” Although the company has not disclosed what chipset this guy uses, or what memory is paired with that chipset, the MegaPad Pro is still worth looking at with its new AI-related features. Tecno MegaPad Pro Overview
Display and Design
The MegaPad Pro packs a 12-inch 2K Ultra Sensory Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 450 nits brightness. The screen covers 86% of the body, and it comes with low blue light certification. The tablet is slim, portable, looks really sleek and nice, which can be carried along literally anywhere, from the library, parks, to campus, you name it. It is indeed very travel-friendly, as Tecno also offers an optional keyboard for those who want a more laptop-like experience.
Audio and Battery
Audio is handled by four Dolby-enabled speakers, which Tecno says are ideal for movies, music, and Zoom calls. The 10,000mAh battery can reportedly last up to 8 hours on heavy tasks. Although the company hasn’t provided any information regarding the chipset it houses, alongside the memory configuration, which remains to be see,n only after the Chinese company discloses its pricing.
AI Integration
Following the rise of AI and AI-wrapped features across all devices, this tablet also comes with AI integration. A dedicated AI key lets you instantly trigger Tecno’s Ella Assistant, which can help with emails, presentations, AI writing, and even social media management. On top of that, the tablet includes tools like the AI Drawing Board, which converts handwritten notes into smart images, the Smart Scanner for document scanning and AR measurements, and Smart Text Recognition to extract information from documents. It also supports real-time translation in over 50 languages and AI Noise Cancellation to make calls and video conferences clearer. Although people rarely buy devices for AI features, i think this features are still worth having by your side.

Connectivity and Ecosystem
The MegaPad Pro supports Tecno OneLeap technology, which lets it connect with Tecno smartphones and PCs. You can share files, use it as a secondary screen, or mirror your phone to handle messages or stream content. The device also features two cameras, which is unusual for most Tablets, simply because tablets are not known for cameras, but it remains to be seen alongside the chipset, what these cameras are capable to do.
