Vivo is preparing to launch its own Mixed Reality headset by 2025

Vivo is preparing to enter the mixed reality (MR) market with a new headset set to debut in 2025. Ahead of its official launch, the company plans to showcase a prototype in September or October 2024. Development and Testing

Vivo has expanded its MR headset development team to 500 members. The company will begin testing "high-fidelity prototype experiences" in various Chinese cities by late 2025.

Against Apple's Vision Pro?

The headset aims to provide capabilities on par with or better than Apple’s Vision Pro but at a more affordable price. Its release timing will depend on the availability of supporting content ecosystems.

Vivo MR Headset Launch Date 

As mentioned above, the upcoming Vivo MR Headset is likely to launch by 2025.
