Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched its latest flagship lineup, the S19 series, comprising the standard S19 and the higher-end S19 Pro models. The new devices prioritize camera capabilities and battery advancements with powerful processors. Both the vivo S19 and S19 Pro feature a 6.78-inch 10-bit OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. However, the S19 Pro boasts a curved display design, while the standard model opts for a flat display. The S19 measures 7.19mm thick and weighs 193g, whereas the Pro variant is slightly thicker at 7.58mm but lighter at 192g. Both models incorporate Aura Light ring flashes for softer illumination and are engineered for durability, with the S19 Pro boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, as well as protection against hot water.
The vivo S19 features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera. The S19 Pro takes it a step further with a 50MP main camera using the Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical and 4x lossless zoom capabilities, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front-facing camera.
