Design and Display
Both the vivo S19 and S19 Pro feature a 6.78-inch 10-bit OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. However, the S19 Pro boasts a curved display design, while the standard model opts for a flat display. The S19 measures 7.19mm thick and weighs 193g, whereas the Pro variant is slightly thicker at 7.58mm but lighter at 192g. Both models incorporate Aura Light ring flashes for softer illumination and are engineered for durability, with the S19 Pro boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, as well as protection against hot water.
Performance and Storage
In terms of performance, the vivo S19 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the S19 Pro features the more powerful Dimensity 9200+. RAM options range up to 16GB, with the S19 using LPDDR5 or LPDDR4X depending on the model, and the S19 Pro utilizing LPDDR5X. Storage capacity tops out at 512GB, with the S19 featuring UFS 3.1 or UFS 2.2 depending on the variant, and the S19 Pro utilizing UFS 3.1 across all variants.
Battery and Charging
One of the standout features of the S19 series is the implementation of vivo's Blue Ocean battery technology. The vivo S19 packs a 6,000mAh battery with an energy density of 809Wh/L, making it 16.6% smaller than conventional batteries of the same capacity. Meanwhile, the S19 Pro houses a 5,500mAh battery with a slightly lower energy density of 808Wh/L. Both models support 80W wired fast charging but lack wireless charging capabilities.
The vivo S19 features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera. The S19 Pro takes it a step further with a 50MP main camera using the Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical and 4x lossless zoom capabilities, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front-facing camera.
