This is a mid-range phone from Vivo targeting users looking for a device that lasts all day.

Soon after launching the vivo T5x 5G in early March, vivo has expanded its T-series with the vivo T5 Pro, designed primarily for users seeking endurance, power, and seamless performance. This phone has a massive 9020 mAh battery, which is quite an upgrade from its predecessor. But this phone also has a major tradeoff that I will explain later. First, I will discuss the Vivo T5 Pro's details, including the expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
vivo T5 Pro Overview
Design and Display
Starting with the design, the vivo T5 Pro has a plastic body with curved edges and a glossy finish, a design we keep seeing in budget phones. It is 13 grams heavier and 10 gramm thicker than its predecessor. It is because this phone has a pretty large battery. On the back, it has a vertical transparent camera island housing dual lenses and an LED flash on its side. The front has a premium punch hole setup to house the selfie camera. And for ingress protection, it comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Regarding the display, vivo T5 Pro has a large 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K (1260 x 2800) resolution, delivering more vibrant colors and textures. Furthermore, it offers a 90% screen-to-body ratio, providing a large viewing area. Also, it has the 2000-nit HBM, which is pretty good if you are reading or using it in direct sunlight. Another highlight of this phone is its 144Hz refresh rate, which lets you scroll through the social media feed and play games smoothly.
Camera and Battery
Moving to the optics, the vivo T5 Pro retains its 50MP Sony IMX882 and adds a 2MP Bokeh sensor to its previous setup. With this setup, it supports 4K video recording with OIS and EIS. But the 50MP periscope telephoto lens we saw previously is gone and is quite disappointing. The good news is the 32MP front sensor stays with us, and it can capture 4K video at 30 fps.

As we discussed earlier, the major upgrade in this phone is its Si/C 9020mAh Li-ion battery, which is around 39% larger than that of its predecessor. Vivo has added 90W wired charging support to this phone, which can charge to 50% in just 37 minutes. Moreover, it offers reverse wired charging and bypass charging.

Performance and Software
Under the hood, Vivo has used the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC built on a 4nm processor, alongside a 7000 mm^2 vapor chamber cooling system for stable operation. Vivo also claims that this phone can easily support 120 fps gameplay. Plus, they said it has extra gaming features like Ultra game mode, an independent gaming antenna, and 4D game vibration. If you are a gamer and looking for a good mid-range phone that can deliver good and stable gaming performance in fast-paced games, then it might be the one for you.

Memory-wise, this phone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, as seen in its predecessors, but you get up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of software, the vivo T5 Pro runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Vivo has also promised 3 major OS updates and up to 5 years of security patches, which is very good for long-term use.
