It features a 7,200mAh battery and a 6.76-inch LCD panel.

Vivo has just unveiled the Vivo T5x smartphone in India. The surprising aspect of this phone is that it is a rebrand of the iQOO Z11x, which was announced last week. With a minor difference in outlook, T5x arrives in Star Silver and Cyber Green finishes. Let's get started!
Vivo T5x Overview
Display and Design
In a market where most competitors are shifting to AMOLED panels for budget phones, Vivo has still opted for a 6.67-inch LCD panel. Here, you will likely notice fairly accurate colors and smooth scrolling with a 120Hz refresh rate, but you won't be able to experience the true black and always-on properties of OLED panels.

While the internal hardware is a mirror image of the iQOO Z11x, the Vivo T5x opts for a more aesthetic design. It gets a new aesthetic and a clean look with Star Silver and Cyber Green over the aggressive iQOO pattern. After long hours of scrolling, it might feel a bit uneasy in the hand, as it leans slightly towards the heavier side at 219 grams. Likewise, this phone is rated IP68/IP69.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Dimensity 7400 SoC is a notable step up from the older Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC found in the Vivo T3x. It's a tried-and-tested chip that can handle 90 fps on titles like PUBG and COD, but it also depends on Vivo's collab with those games. Still, the Dimensity 7400 handles moderate usage quite well. Moreover, this phone comes with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.

Moving to the software, T5x runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16 out of the box, which is a significant departure from FunTouch OS for this lineup.

Camera and Battery
Getting to the optics, this phone comes with a 50MP IMX852 sensor on the back that is said to deliver impressive detail in daylight, with the natural color sense Vivo is known for. Up front, the 32MP selfie shooter is one of the phone's key highlights. You will get much better, clearer image quality than the 8MP module in T3x. However, there is no ultrawide unit here, but a 2MP depth sensor remains, which will be less useful.

Likewise, the 7,200mAh battery capacity is one of the standout features in this phone. In the market, where 5000mAh is common in this phone category, this larger capacity will definitely give extra hours of battery life. You also get 44W charging for quick top-ups, along with reverse-wired and Bypass charging.
