Vivo V60 Lite refreshed version Spotted with Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2

Vivo has listed a new V60 Lite in Panama. We already saw V60 Lite in Nepal, in both of its 4G and 5G variants, and this is once again another edition to the same moniker. Although you aren’t getting anything like a full redesign, it does bring a few updates under the hood. This article will discuss everything about the latest Vivo V60 Lite, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Vivo V60 Lite Overview

Display and Design

The refreshed V60 Lite comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display. It has FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and it also retains an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. It also meets IP65 dust and water resistance standards and passes MIL-STD-810H durability tests. Other than that, you can get this phone in two color options: Black and Blue.

Performance and Software

Vivo has swapped the old Snapdragon 685 for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor. Interestingly, only Honor X8d features this chipset, so it's fair to say that it's not a well-tested chipset, but it should function reliably well. Anyway, it runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Some rumors expect the device to be paired with an 8GB with virtual RAM expansion, paired with 256GB internal storage. There’s no microSD slot for expandable storage.

Camera and Battery

On the back, there’s a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front camera is 32MP. Other than that, the leaks show that the battery is rated at 6,500 mAh and supports 90W wired fast charging, which can fully charge the phone in under an hour. And by the way, reverse wired charging is also expected at 6W for smaller devices.

The chances of this version of V60 Lite launching in Nepal are essentially zero, because of the already existing V60 Lite models. But if we are talking in terms of how good of a deal it would be if it made it here, then i think it will appeal to people who mostly looking for a large AMOLED screen, fast 4G performance, and quick charging. But if you are looking for something like needing a 5G or more advanced cameras, there are better options in the market, and i don’t really see anything interesting in choosing this particular model.
