Vivo V70 Elite goes official with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Zeiss optics

Vivo's V Series has always been the talk of the town for its premium design and class-leading cameras at its price point. And now, the Chinese tech giant has just released two models: Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, marking the debut of an Elite model for the very first time. Design and Display

Talking of the design, the V70 Elite departs from the iconic vertical camera module of the V Series. It now resembles Oppo phones, with the camera lens housed in a square module. It now boasts a sturdy aluminium frame and is IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistant. Upfront, you are greeted with a 1.5K res AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5000 nits of peak brightness.

Performance

Under the hood, the V70 Elite features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. This semi-flagship chip, fabricated on a 4nm process, features a 1-core Cortex-X4 at 3000 MHz, 4-core Cortex-A720 at 2800 MHz, and 3-core Cortex-A520 at 2000 MHz. It will likely be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Meanwhile, the phone boots on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
