The Vivo 70 FE is official as an alternative mid-range option!

Vivo just launched the V70 FE in Indonesia, marking the first time the FE tag has appeared in the V-series. It offers a larger battery than the standard V70, a 200MP main camera, and a different chip. Let's get into this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Vivo V70 FE, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Vivo V70 FE Overview
Design and Display

The V70 FE comes in Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver. Vivo hasn't gone into detail on materials, but it carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, which is a strong durability combo. Similarly, IP68 covers submersion, and IP69 adds resistance to high-pressure water jets. At a mid-range price point, having both is worth calling out. There's also an Aura Light ring flash on the back, which Vivo uses for portrait lighting. It's a design element that shows up across Vivo's lineup and doubles as a visual signature on the rear panel.
It comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz, peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It's a 10-bit Q10+ panel with HDR10+ support, and there's an under-display optical fingerprint scanner built in. For brightness, you are getting 1,900 nits peak, which is genuinely bright for outdoor use. Similarly, you are also provided with a 120Hz refresh rate,
Performance
Compared to the standard V70 and V70 Elite, which both use Snapdragon, the device features the Dimensity 7360-Turbo, which is a 4nm chip from MediaTek processors. The same chip previously showed up in the Vivo V60e. So the performance positioning here sits comfortably in upper mid-range territory.
Similarly, the RAM goes up to 12GB LPDDR5, and storage tops out at 512GB UFS 3.1. For software, you get OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, with up to six years of security updates promised.
Camera

Now moving onto the camera section, it features a dual rear setup: a 200MP main sensor with OIS and f/1.88 aperture, paired with an 8M P ultrawide. Up front, a 32MP selfie camera. The Aura Light on the back does serve a practical purpose for portrait shots in dim conditions, compared to a harsh LED flash. However, it is also worth noting that there is no ZEISS branding here, unlike the V70 and V70 Elite.

Battery and Connectivity
For battery, the device features a large 7,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging. The standard V70 and V70 Elite both cap at 6,500mAh, so the FE actually pulls ahead on battery capacity despite sitting lower in the lineup.
Here you get dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, dual-SIM, and an IR blaster. The IR blaster is a small but useful inclusion that lets the phone act as a remote for TVs and other appliances, something most phones at this tier skip.
