Xiaomi has officially launched its 15 series smartphones, including the Xiaomi 15, and Xiaomi 15 Pro, in China. This new series introduces several key features including the new snapdragon chipset with improved cameras and so on. This article will exclusively talk about the Xiaomi 15 Pro, including its expected price in Nepal and availability.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro features a 50MP Hunter 900 main sensor with an f/1.44 aperture, delivering a wide, bright capture. It includes a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with a 115° field of view at f/2.2 and a 50MP IMX 858 periscope telephoto sensor with f/2.5 aperture, offering 5x optical zoom with DOL-HDR for enhanced dynamic range. The camera setup integrates a new-generation Sumilux lens with an ALD ultra-transparent coating, and Xiaomi’s AISP 2.0 technology is included for improved image processing. Additionally, it supports a 10x lossless zoom for detailed, high-quality shots even at a distance.

The latest Xiaomi 15 Pro, features a 6.73-inches 2K ( 3200 x 1440 pixels) micro-curved LTPO OLED display with 1.38mm bezels and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The screen utilizes customized luminous M9 material, which helps reduce overall power consumption by 10%. Moreover, it comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and has an ultrasonic sensor underneath. Talking about the design, the Xiaomi 15 Pro includes durable Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 and a ceramic quad-curved lens deco design. It has a wrap-around middle frame, weighs 213g, and is 8.35mm thick, with a nearly 50:50 weight ratio for balance. Similarly, it is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. Starting off the Xiaomi 15 Pro, just like the rest of the series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This chipset offers a 45% performance improvement compared to previous models. Additionally, it reduces power consumption by 52%. Smartphones can support demanding tasks, such as playing large-scale 3D games while maintaining a stable temperature.
