Bose SoundLink Flex Overview:
Design
Bose SoundLink Flex features a rugged design that’s resistant to rust and UV light. That’s mostly due to the materials used here: powder-coated steel for the grill and silicone for the exterior. Additionally, it weighs nearly 590 grams, which makes it easier to carry around.
Another feature that makes SoundLink Flex safe to carry around is the IP67 rating so that no water can harm the speaker unless you are going for a deep swim. While the upper section has all the buttons for controls, the right side has a loop for your fingers to hold onto the speaker. Moreover, there are multiple color options, including Black, Carmine Red, Green, Stone Blue, and White Smoke.
Audio and Connectivity
With PositionIQ, SoundLink Flex claims to adjust according to its orientation to make audio better. There is an echo reduction algorithm to make your listening better. Furthermore, the speaker has a built-in microphone for calls.
As for connectivity, you get an older Bluetooth 4.2. The connection can last up to about 10 meters away from the device. Besides, there is party mode and stereo mode support if you have two of the speakers. The SoundLink Flex can also be customized using the Bose Connect App.
Battery
Bose SoundLink Flex fuels for 12 hours of playtime on a single charge. Additionally, the USB-C charges the device within 4 hours.
