Vivo Y27s Overview
The Vivo Y27s is a midrange smartphone with a 90Hz screen, Snapdragon SoC, and 50MP dual camera among other things. Let’s briefly discuss what else this smartphone has to offer.
Design and Display
The Vivo Y27s comes with a plastic back body while boasting IP54 water and dust resistance. It has a single rounded-rectangle camera island with two camera cutouts along with an LED flash on the back. It is available in two colour options: Burgundy Black, and Garden Green.
On the front, the Vivo Y27s sports a 2.5D curved display measuring 6.64 inches diagonally. It is an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and a pixel density of 394 PPI. It also offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, peak brightness of 650 nits, and a 100% P3 colour gamut.
Performance
Under the hood, the Vivo Y27s is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is a 6nm octa-core processor that has a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz. Meanwhile, it comes with Qualcomm Adreno 610 GPU bundled together.
In terms of memory and storage, there is a combination of 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The Vivo Y27s offers an 8 GB virtual RAM extension as well as storage expansion of up to 1TB via a microSD card. Software-wise, it runs on Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 on top.
Camera and the rest
Getting to the optics, the phone sports a dual 50MP + 2MP rear cameras with an LED flash. Meanwhile, on the front, we are getting an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, we can expect a plethora of camera magic that Vivo is known for with this phone as well.
Fuelling the smartphone is a 5,000mAh lithium-ion battery that supports 44W wired charging. In terms of wireless connectivity, we are getting Dual SIM Dual Standby, 4G LTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and five-way navigation support. Moreover, it comes with USB 2.0 Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired connections. Lastly, it also supports biometrics reading for additional security.
