Design and Display
The Apple Watch Series 11 boasts a sleek and thin design like that seen in the Series 10. It is available in two case sizes, 46 mm and 42 mm, offering a choice of seven stunning finishes, including new Space Gray, Rose Gold, Jet Black, and Silver in aluminum, as well as Natural, Gold, and Slate in polished titanium. Moreover, the watch is WR 50M water resistant and IP6X dust resistant.
The watch ships in two sizes: 42 mm and 46 mm, with the display resolution of the smaller version at 374 x 446 pixels and the larger one at 416 x 496 pixels. The screen features Retina LTPO3 technology, marking the debut of wide-angle OLED in an Apple Watch. Impressively, the display can reach up to 2,000 nits of brightness and drop to just 1 nit. For added durability, the aluminum model has Ion-X glass, while the titanium version features a sapphire crystal cover.
Performance and Features
In terms of performance, Apple Watch Series 11 is powered by the S10 chip, featuring a 64-bit dual-core processor and a 4-core Neural Engine. Apple also gave 64GB of internal storage for the watch. The battery life also got an upgrade, and now it can last up to 24 hours of battery life under normal use, extendable to 38 hours in Low Power Mode. Additionally, it supports fast charging that provides up to 8 hours of use from just a 15-minute charge.
The watch now supports 5G cellular capabilities and introduces hypertension notifications along with sleep scores. Health features like sleep apnea notifications, the Vitals app for overnight health data, the ECG app for AFib detection, Heart Rate app notifications, and more are still available in the device as well.
