Acer Predator Helios 16 AI (2025) Overview
Design and Display
The Predator Helios 16 AI is a gaming and productivity laptop that maintains the unique logo introduced with its 2024 version. It comes with a dimension of 356.78 x 279.55 x 15.9/27.71 mm and weighs 2.7 kg.
For the display, it features a 16 OLED+ WQXGA display with a resolution of 2560×1600. This display boasts an impressive refresh rate of up to 240Hz and a peak brightness of up to 400 nits, making it perfect for both gaming and creative work. Moreover, it comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio and DCI-P3 100% color gamut.
Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the Predator Helios 16 AI can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX offering 24 cores (8 Performance and 16 Efficiency cores) and a max turbo frequency of 5.4GHz. For graphics, the Helios 16 is equipped with NVIDIA’s next-gen GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. Furthermore, it features a dynamic boost up to 175W MGP, MUX switch, and Advanced Optimus.
In terms of memory and storage, the Predator Helios 16 AI comes with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4TB PCle Gen 5 SSD.
AI integration and Cooling
The new Acer Predator Helios 16 (2025) is equipped with two sixth-gen AreoBlade 3D Fans, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes. Moreover, it has a 90 battery powering everything.

Additionally, the Predator Helios 16 includes the world’s thinnest cooling fan blades at just 0.5mm, improving airflow by 20% compared to traditional plastic fans, which helps keep the laptop cool during intensive tasks. Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI
Alongside the launch of Helios 16, Acer also announced the Predator Helios Neo 16S. This slimmer variant retains strong performance, supporting up to 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage, and features a WQXGA OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate.
