boAt launches Airdopes Flex 454 ANC with up to 45 hours of playback

The popular Indian accessories brand, boAt Lifestyle, recently launched Airdopes Flex 454 ANC alongside the Airdopes 161 ANC wireless earbuds. In this article, we will be discussing the boAt Airdopes Flex 454 ANC in detail along with its features, availability, and expected price in Nepal.

Design

The boAt Airdopes Flex 454 ANC are in-ear design TWS earbuds available in two colour options: Gunmetal Black and Zinc White. Design-wise, these guys don’t look anything out of the ordinary. However, the stem of these buds seems to be on the shorter end.

The Flex 454 ANC boasts IPX5 water resistance. The casing of these earbuds seems to feature two different textures of the same colour but no IP rating of any kind. The main body of the case looks to have a rather matte finish whereas the cover of the case seems to be on the glossy end.

Audio

In terms of audio, the boAt Airdopes Flex 454 ANC is powered by 10mm drivers and supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. This should provide you with a stable connection and good sound clarity. These earbuds also come with Adaptive EQ, powered by Mimi, that supposedly matches your ear sensitivity to fine-tune audio quality.

But the major highlight of these earbuds — as the name suggests — is its ANC capability itself. The company claims to be providing “Flagship-Level” ANC with noise cancellation of up to 32dB. The Airdopes Flex 454 ANC also comes with quad mics with AI ENx tech which allows clearer sound quality. They provide “Ambient Mode” to allow ambient noise in when you are outdoors too.

Battery and Features

boAt promises industry-leading playtime with Airdopes Flex 454 ANC at 45 hours when the ANC is turned on and at 60 hours otherwise. Thanks to boAt’s “ASAP Charge” tech, you can get 4 hours of playtime just by plugging it in 10 minutes only.

The Airdopes Flex 454 ANC also comes with other cool features such as “Beast Mode”. This is the company’s gaming mode where the audio latency drops to a respectable 60ms. Then there’s the “boAt SmartTalk” feature, which allows you to “Accept” or “Reject” a call using the respective voice prompts. These earbuds even support in-ear detection and multipoint connectivity. You can customise different settings of the Airdopes Flex 454 ANC via the “boAt Hearables App” companion app.
