Dell XPS 14 makes a comeback at CES 2026!

Here is something very funny that Dell did this time: they made a big announcement in 2025 that all its laptop sub-brands would be discontinued, except Alienware, and that the Dell name itself would be used. Accordingly, Dell killed the most valued laptop brand, the Dell XPS series, which was to be called “Dell Perimum.”

But just a year later, at CES 2026, Dell is reversing the course, and the XPS is making a comeback with the launch of its new Dell XPS 14 (DA14260). So, yeah, in this article, we will discuss everything you need to know about these new devices, including their specs, features, and price.

Build and Display

Talking about the build , the all-new Dell XPS 14 shares the same premium and durable design that we used to get on previous models. The body of the Dell XPS (2025) is made from CNC-milled aluminium, with Gorilla Glass 3 covering the palm rest. This materials makes it both premium and durable for long term. The device also weighs around 1.36kg and has a portable formfactor, making it perfect for students or people who uses their laptop for daily commutes.

Now, moving towards the display, we have two options to choose from: First one is the 14-inch 2.8 K Touch OLED InfinityEdge panel, which even offers 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and support for Doly Vision HDR. And the next option includes a 2K LCD panel with a wider color gamut and a 120Hz variable refresh rate that can even go down to 1Hz for conserving power.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, we get the latest Intel Panther Lake CPUs, which include both basic 8-core CPU versions featuring Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355, and a much more powerful and capable Intel Core Ultra X7 385H, which comes with the latest ARC Graphics.

Talking about AI performance, these devices deliver 50 TOPS from the new NPU in the latest Panther Lake CPUs.

​For memory, we get up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 4TB of PCIe Gen 5 SSD, which is more than enough for every task we throw at it.

Talking about connectivity, here we get three full-fledged Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and a 3.5mm headphone mic combo for physical connectivity. For wireless connectivity, we get WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

​Additionally, we get a large 70Wh battery pack that powers the notebook, and Dell has claimed up to 40 hours of local video playback in their testing. Additionally, for speakers, we get a quad-speaker setup that consists of a 3W main unit and 2W tweeters. So, we get an immersive sound experience, with a total of 10W output and Dolby Atmos tuning.
