DJI is launching its 8K flagship 360 degree drone with HDR panoramic recording mode

According to rumours, DJI is set to go live globally on March 26, with its newest Avata 360 as the direct successor of Avata 2. These reports also claim that this aircraft will record videos in 8K/60 fps HDR panoramic mode and might have a slightly larger build than its predecessor. This article will sum up every detail, including the expected DJI Avata 360 price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

DJI Avata 360 Overview:

Design and Build

According to early leaks, DJI will come with a cinewhoop structure, as we saw in Avata 2, along with a refined, high-tech dual-lens camera module. From the leaked video, we can see that its propeller guards and four-axis layout are similar to those of the previous Avata series. Also, there won't be any difference in the weight between the Avata 360 and the Avata 2. Since reports suggest Avata 360 weighs around 377 grams, and the threshold for any drone is 249 grams, this device requires FAA registration in the USA and C1/UK1 ratings in Europe and the UK for official launch.

Likewise, we also see that DJI is focusing on professional and enthusiastic creative users, as shown by the clean, buttonless body layout. Which looks clean! It also has two orange rings on the outer edge of the motors that will help us to identify them from a distance.

Camera

Reports also claim that the DJI Avata 360 will feature a 360-degree camera system supporting 8K HDR panoramic optical recording. That's a super high resoultion which should capture great details. Another source also claims it may use large dual sensors for better dynamic range, stability, and low-light performance. Similarly, reports also claim this aircraft will come with a replaceable lens system. I think it's a welcoming update to be able to replace the lens. This upcoming drone is likely to get an O4 video transmission system, which will provide stability for long-range FPV video streaming. Some news also indicates that this drone will be compatible with DJI goggles and motion controllers. So, DJI has also got it covered if you are a FPV lover, like me.
