Design, Display
Like most hybrid smartwatches, the Instinct Crossover is aimed at folks who prefer a classic look with the benefits of a modern smartwatch. Still, it has the rigidity that you’re used to from Garmin’s Instinct lineup. It is resistant to heat and shock and meets the military-grade MIL-STD-810 standard. Also, it is waterproof up to 10 ATM.
The dial has a 0.9-inch screen with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels. The watch has physical hour hands coated with Super LumiNova coating that glows in the dark. Likewise, a new feature called “RevoDrive” technology auto-calibrates the hour hands even in the harshest activities and environments. Battery
The Solar edition, as the name suggests, supports solar charging and has an infinite battery life in power-saving mode. Otherwise, it can provide up to 70 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.
The standard Instinct Crossover, on the other hand, is claimed to last nearly a month on a charge with full smartwatch features and 110 hours with GPS tracking.

The Instinct Crossover supports Gramin’s full suite of health and fitness tracking. This includes Health monitoring activity, which allows users to record key health metrics in a single view, such as Body Battery, stress, and heart rate. Fitness enthusiasts can track VO2 Max, Pulse Oxide levels, and Training Status from the watch itself.
It also has GPS, multi-GNASS support, and other navigational features such as trackback. On top of that, the crossover’s Tactical edition includes night vision compatibility, stealth mode, dual-format GPS, a kill switch, and other features.
