      GBN Store Nepal

A new e-commerce and retail experience platform focused on electronics products is launching soon in Nepal. Called GBNStore.com, the platform aims to become a trusted destination where customers can buy branded gadgets and electronics directly from authorized brands and suppliers.

But GBNStore is not being planned as just another online gadget marketplace. The bigger idea is to build an e-commerce + physical experience platform where consumers can discover, compare, test, and buy the right tech products based on their actual needs.

      GBNStore Overview

According to the team behind GBNStore.com, the platform will focus only on branded and genuine electronic products, with smartphones, laptops, and mobile accessories being the first major categories.

Over time, the company also plans to expand into tablets, smartwatches, audio products, TVs, home appliances, creator gear, drones, action cameras, chargers, cables, and other consumer electronics.

The platform is being built with a simple idea: people should not have to buy gadgets blindly or under pressure. Instead, they should be able to understand the product, compare alternatives, and choose what actually fits their lifestyle.

More Than Just an E-commerce Store

What makes GBNStore interesting is its larger retail vision. The company plans to build a tech experience zone where customers can physically try and compare products before buying them.

So instead of only browsing products online, customers will eventually be able to visit the store and experience different gadgets hands-on.

For example, someone confused between two flagship phones will be able to compare the display, camera, design, performance, and overall feel before making the final decision. Similarly, someone looking for a gaming phone can check gaming performance, thermals, FPS stability, and other practical factors.

This makes GBNStore different from a normal e-commerce platform. It wants to become a playground for tech products, where customers can test before they buy.

      Guided Buying Experience

A major part of GBNStore’s concept is guided buying.

Most retail stores in Nepal still rely heavily on brand promoters. And naturally, brand promoters are there to push their own products. This often makes the buying process confusing for customers.

GBNStore wants to approach this differently. Instead of pushing a specific brand, the platform plans to guide customers based on their actual use case.

So if someone wants the best phone for gaming, they can explore the gaming-focused recommendations. If someone wants the best camera phone, they can compare camera-focused options. If someone wants long battery life, better software, or the best overall value, GBNStore will organize products around those needs. This buying-guide-first approach could make it easier for customers to find the right product instead of getting lost in endless listings.

      Experience Zones and Product Labs

GBNStore is also expected to include different experience zones in its physical outlet.

One of the planned concepts is a camera comparison lab, where customers can compare smartphone cameras and even take part in blind camera tests. This could help remove brand bias and let people choose the photo quality they personally prefer.

Similarly, the gaming zone could allow users to test gaming phones and laptops based on real-world metrics like FPS, heating, and stability.

There are also plans for a creator-focused section with products like drones, action cameras, microphones, lights, tripods, and other content creation accessories.

Another unique concept is an unboxing booth, where customers buying a new gadget can record a clean, professional-looking unboxing video for social media.

Founded by Former GadgetByte Team Members

GBNStore.com is being started by people who have previously worked closely with GadgetByte.

The two founders leading this project are Sandeep Baral, who previously worked as the CMO of GadgetByte, from 2022 to 2025.

Speaking about the project, Yural Maskey, co-founder of GadgetByte, said:

“At GadgetByte, we promote entrepreneurship, and I am really glad to support these young entrepreneurs who worked fantastically during the early phases of GadgetByte. Now, they are opening such a big and wonderful project, which I believe fills a major gap in Nepal. There has not been a single marketplace platform where I can get all my electronic needs in one place. As the founder of GadgetByte, we will of course be promoting this platform through affiliate links, as we have done with various companies in the past. I am really hoping this project succeeds, and I am looking forward to working with them.”

      GadgetByte’s Role

GadgetByte will support GBNStore through content, visibility, and affiliate promotion. Since GadgetByte already helps thousands of users make buying decisions through reviews, comparisons, price articles, and buying guides, GBNStore can benefit from that existing trust.

The idea is to connect content with commerce in a more useful way. For example, a user reading a phone review or a buying guide on GadgetByte can directly check availability, price, or buying options on GBNStore. Similarly, customers can use GadgetByte’s content to understand products better before purchasing.

      Final Thoughts

GBNStore.com is entering a competitive space, but its concept is interesting. Instead of being just another online electronics store, it is trying to build a more guided and experience-focused way of buying gadgets in Nepal. If executed properly, the mix of branded products, buying guides, GadgetByte-backed promotion, and physical experience zones could help solve a real problem in Nepal’s gadget market.

For now, GBNStore will begin with smartphones, laptops, and mobile accessories. But with plans to expand into more electronics categories and physical product experience zones, it will be interesting to see how the platform grows in the coming years.
