During the ongoing MWC 2022 event, Honor unveiled two new flagship devices. Dubbed as Honor Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro, these handsets come with flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors. In this article, we will go through the specs, features, availability, and expected price of Honor Magic 4, Magic 4 Pro in Nepal.
Honor Magic 4, Magic 4 Pro Overview:
Design and Display
The Honor Magic 4 and 4 Pro feature a 6.81-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 1000 nits of brightness. Both offer HDR 10+ certification as well as a 1920Hz PWM dimming feature. The Pro model, on the other hand, also offers MEMC and SDR to HDR upscaling.
Furthermore, Honor says that the display on the Pro model has ultra-narrow bezels that measure only 0.93mm. The Magic 4 features a centrally aligned punch-hole camera cutout on the front, whereas the Magic 4 Pro has a pill-shaped cutout on the left. Both devices include a circular camera cutout on the back, which Honor refers to as the “Eye of Muse.”
Powering these handsets is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Similarly, they boot on Magic UI 6.0 based on Android 12.
In terms of memory, the Magic 4 gets 128/256/512GB configurations while the Pro model is outfitted with 256/512GB internal storage. The latter gets its juice via a 4600mAh battery that supports 100W of Honor SuperCharge wireless and wired charging; whilst the former is powered by a 4800mAh cell that charges via a 66W wired fast charging.
The Honor Magic 4 Pro’s cameras include a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP 3.5x optical zoom telephoto camera. The vanilla Magic 4, on the other hand, features the same main and ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom. The camera feature includes ultra-fusion photography, AI Color, and Movie Master with IMAX Enhanced 10bit 4K video recording at 60fps.
Furthermore, the device has a ToF laser focusing sensor as well as a flicker sensor. For selfies, they come with a 12MP camera for selfies, and the Pro variant also features a 3D depth sensor placed in the pill-shaped cutout.
