Alongside the release of the Magic Pad V7 Pro, Honor has launched a new smartwatch, called the Honor Watch GS 3. However, you can’t get your hands on it yet, as it is not on the market yet. So, let’s get into the specs, features, availability of the Honor Watch GS 3.
Honor Watch GS 3 Overview:
Honor has revealed a bunch of images of the Watch GS 3, however, technicals specifications, and product pricing is nowhere to be seen.
Nonetheless, the product image gives an idea of what the watch should look like. The Watch GS 3 flaunts a circular touch screen with thin bezels and a slim case. It has two physical buttons on the right side and should come with an interchangeable strap.
Further, the watch has a metal build and is available in three variants — Voyager with a silver case and blue leather straps, Streamer Classic with a golden case and brown leather straps, and Racing Edition with a gray case and black rubber straps.

8-channel PPG sensor
Besides the design and display, the main highlight of the show is the eight-channel PPG heart rate monitor sensor. The Watch GS 3 supports quad-channel data processing and an AI processor for improved heart rate accuracy. As per Honor, its use case should be evident in high-intensity exercises.
Aside from that, Honor hasn’t disclosed any technical details. However, what’s intriguing here is the operating system with which the watch will be introduced to the market. We don’t think Honor will be using Harmony OS or any other smartwatch platform from Huawei. Thus, it now has two options – either to go with Wear OS or build a proprietary platform.
Honor Watch GS 3 Price and Availability
Just like the spec sheets, the company hasn’t revealed any info about the price. The availability is also unknown as of yet. Still, we expect it to launch later this year.
