HONOR X9e Pro Overview (Rumors)
Design and Display
Starting off, the HONOR X9e Pro appears to follow the same durability-focused approach as the X9 series. From the teasers, the phone features a flat frame with curved corners and a large circular camera module on the back, making it look quite similar to the HONOR X9d, although the camera housing has received some changes. Here you might get the option to choose from “Royal Purple”, “Dawn Gold”, “Reddish Brown”, and “Midnight Black” metallic-look finishes.

Besides that, durability is also one of the major highlights here. HONOR says the X9e Pro can withstand 3-meter drops and carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The company has also demonstrated the phone surviving air-gun shots and submersion of up to 10 meters. However, these demonstrations are carried out under controlled lab conditions, so the reality might be different in everyday use.

Up front, the X9e Pro is rumored to come with a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. So far, HONOR has confirmed a 10,000-nit peak brightness and a tougher screen designed to withstand impacts for easier outdoor use. While these details are yet to be officially confirmed, we can expect the display to deliver punchy colors, deep blacks, and smooth scrolling, making it well-suited for everyday use, casual gaming, and watching content.
Battery and Camera
Moving on, the HONOR X9e Pro packs a massive 11,000mAh battery, which is one of its biggest highlights. It also supports 80W HONOR SuperCharge and 27W reverse wired charging, so the phone should offer plenty of endurance while also being useful for charging other devices.
Interestingly, this is quite a bump over the previous X9 series sibling, the HONOR X9d’s 8,300mAh battery. So, if you’re someone who needs a phone that can keep up with long hours of continuous use without constantly reaching for the charger, the X9e Pro could be an interesting option.

Coming to the camera, the HONOR X9e Pro is confirmed to feature a 108MP main camera that should be able to capture detailed photos, especially in good lighting. However, HONOR has not revealed the complete camera setup yet, so details about the secondary and selfie cameras are still under wraps. We will have to wait for the launch to see how well it performs in real-world conditions.

Performance and Software
Under the hood, the HONOR X9e Pro is expected to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. The same chip has also appeared in a Geekbench listing believed to be for the X9e Pro, where it managed decent scores for a mid-range phone. This means the device should handle everyday tasks, multitasking, social media, and casual gaming without much trouble.

Memory-wise, HONOR has not revealed the RAM and storage options yet. On the software front, the X9e Pro is expected to run MagicOS 11 based on Android 17, bringing the latest Honor features
