HP revealed its brand-new OmniBook 5 series laptops at Computex 2025, focusing on smarter, AI-driven performance. The OmniBook 5 14 and 16 are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X and X Plus processors and come loaded with Copilot+ features. In this article, we will discuss the HP OmniBook 5 Series, including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.
HP OmniBook 5 Series Overview
Design and Display
HP has gone for a clean and quiet design with the OmniBook 5 series, finished in a sleek Glacier Silver shade. Both the 14-inch and 16-inch models use 2K OLED screens (1920 x 1200 resolution), and they look sharp and colorful.
These panels offer 300 nits of brightness and cover 95% of the DCI-P3 color space, which is great for creators and casual users alike. Thanks to TÜV+Eyesafe certification, they reduce harmful blue light, and the quick 0.02ms response time makes them feel snappy and smooth.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, HP uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X and X Plus chips, and each model includes a powerful Hexagon NPU that handles 45 trillion operations per second. That kind of processing makes AI tasks quick and seamless. Moreover, the laptops come with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of fast PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, which ensures fast boot-ups and multitasking.
The graphics are handled by Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU, which does a good job for daily tasks and media use. On top of that, HP includes its own AI Companion tool that works offline to help analyze documents and improve system performance.
Powering all this is a 59Wh battery that lasts through a workday, and with HP Fast Charge, you get 50% power back in just 30 minutes using the 65W.
