Best Expensive Gaming Laptops in Nepal [Updated 2026]

5. Lenovo Legion Pro 7i

Starting the list, I have picked the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i with the RTX 5080 at number five. The laptop comes with Intel’s flagship Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and NVIDIA’s second most powerful RTX 5080 laptop GPU with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM and a whopping 175W TGP.

A gorgeous flagship OLED display

Okay... apart from the performance, the display is also another “big highlight” of this device. It comes with a gorgeous 16-inch WQXGA OLED panel with a buttery-smooth 240Hz refresh rate. Here, the higher resolution makes games and other content look sharper, while the OLED panel gives you deeper blacks and better contrast. We also get up to 500 nits of brightness, which should be more than enough for most indoor conditions.

This display also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC to reduce screen tearing, along with Dolby Vision and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 for HDR content. So, it's perfect for gaming, watching movies, or doing photo and video editing.

For memory, you get 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, which should be more than enough for your day-to-day usage. And the most important part, thermals: the Legion Pro 7i comes with its proprietary Legion Coldfront Vapor system, which includes a large vapor chamber, a triple-fan setup, and liquid metal to help prevent thermal throttling during longer gaming sessions or intensive tasks.

So, if you are in search of an excellent gaming laptop that makes no compromises, you can't go wrong with the Legion Pro 7i. We also get an RTX 5090 variant, which I will discuss later in the list.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Specifications:
Display	16” OLED WQXGA (2560x1600 pixels), 240Hz, 100% DCI-P3

Storage	1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD
Battery	Li-Ion 80 Wh

4. ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16

Next on the list, we have the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16. Like the Legion Pro 7i above, it uses the same Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and NVIDIA RTX 5080 with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM. So, there is not much difference in the core hardware, with the main differences being the display, storage, and a few other features.

Mini LED vs OLED

The SCAR 16 comes with a 16-inch 2.5K Mini LED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Compared to the Legion’s OLED panel, the Mini LED display can get brighter, making it a good fit for gaming in brighter rooms and HDR content. The Legion’s OLED, on the other hand, offers deeper blacks and stronger contrast. So, if you prefer a brighter display, the SCAR 16 makes more sense, while the Legion Pro 7i is better suited if deeper blacks and contrast matter more to you.

The SCAR 16 also comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, giving you twice the storage compared to the Legion above. It also packs a larger 90Wh battery and supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16 Specifications:
Display	16” Mini LED 2.5K (2560x1600 pixels), 240Hz, 100% DCI-P3
CPU	Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (24C/24T, up to 5.4 GHz)
GPU	NVIDIA RTX 5080 (16GB GDDR7, 175W TGP)
RAM	32GB DDR5 6400 MT/s
Storage	1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD
Battery	Li-Ion 90 Wh
Weight	2.80kg
Price	NPR 715,900

3. Acer Predator Helios 18 AI

At number three, we have the Acer Predator Helios 18 AI. It comes with NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 laptop GPU with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, paired with Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX processor. So, here you are getting a very powerful combination for both gaming and other demanding tasks.

A huge display with plenty of memory

The main highlight of this laptop is the large 18-inch WQUXGA Mini LED display. The bigger screen gives you more space for gaming and other work, while the Mini LED panel offers good contrast and HDR support. Acer also packs a whopping 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, so there is plenty of memory and storage right out of the box.

The laptop also comes with a 99Wh battery and a 400W power adapter. As for the price, it is listed at NPR 585,000, making it one of the best-value RTX 5080 laptops you can get. So, this one makes a lot of sense if you want flagship-level performance without spending a lot.

Acer Predator Helios 18 AI Specifications:
Display	18” Mini LED 4K (3840x2400 pixels), 250Hz, 100% DCI-P3
CPU	Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (24C/24T, up to 5.4 GHz)
GPU	NVIDIA RTX 5080 (16GB GDDR7, 175W TGP)
RAM	64GB DDR5 6400 MT/s
Storage	1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD
Battery	Li-Ion 99 Wh
Weight	3.50kg
Price	NPR  499,999

2. MSI Vector 16 HX AI

At number two, we have the MSI Vector 16 HX AI. It is easily the cheapest option to get NVIDIA’s top-of-the-line RTX 5090 laptop GPU in Nepal. It is paired with Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, so here you get proper flagship-level hardware without spending a lot.

But there is a catch

The main thing to keep in mind is the RAM. This particular configuration comes with just 16GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. That is enough for most games, but it feels quite low for a laptop with an RTX 5090 and Core Ultra 9 processor. Since the RAM is upgradeable, I suggest upgrading it to 32GB for maximum usage and better overall performance. Other than this, we still get a 16-inch QHD display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage.

MSI Vector 16 HX AI Specifications:
Display	16” IPS QHD+ (2560x1600 pixels), 240Hz, 100% DCI-P3
CPU	Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (24C/24T, up to 5.4 GHz)
GPU	NVIDIA RTX 5090 (24GB GDDR7, 175W TGP)
RAM	16GB DDR5 6400 MT/s
Storage	1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD
Battery	Li-Ion 90 Wh
Weight	2.7kg
Price	NPR 610,000

1. Lenovo Legion Pro 7i

Topping our list is none other than the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, a powerful gaming laptop that offers a good balance of portability and performance. It comes with the top-end RTX 5090 GPU paired with Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU. If you prefer a smaller 16-inch gaming laptop, this is a great option.

As for the rest of the specs, the display, ports, and other features are the same as the RTX 5080 variant I discussed above.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Specifications:
Display	16” OLED WQXGA (2560x1600 pixels), 240Hz, 100% DCI-P3

GPU	NVIDIA RTX 5090 (16GB GDDR7, 175W TGP)
RAM	32GB DDR5 6400 MT/s
Storage	1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD
Battery	Li-Ion 80 Wh
Weight	2.57kg
Price	NPR 993,900
