Infinix has brought three new members to its Note lineup: Note 30, Note 30 5G, and Note 30 Pro 5G. In this article, we’ll walk through the specs, features, and expected price in Nepal of the Infinix Note 30 and Note 30 5G.

Infinix Note 30 and Note 30 5G Overview:

Design and Display

In terms of design, both the Note 30 and Note 30 5G are doppelgangers, sharing a similar look, except for the position of the LED flash at the back. In case you are wondering, they both take cues from the Infinix Note 30i which was unveiled just a few days ago. So, you get a glass front, flat plastic frame, and plastic back on these guys.

The color options are the same between these phones. There’s the “Interstellar Blue” option with flashy vibes, “Magic Black” with plain looks, and the “Sunset Gold” variant with a vegan leather-type finish.

On the front side as well, both siblings share the same 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel. However, this one has a hole-punch cutout instead of the Infinix Note 30i’s teardrop notch. This FHD+ screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Performance

Under the hood, Infinix Note 30 packs a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which is based on a 6nm fabrication process. Meanwhile, the 5G variant gets the Mediatek Dimensity 6080 (6nm) SoC instead. To compare, the performance gap between the two is not drastic, although the 6080 5G is a tat bit better.

As for the storage options, Infinix Note 30 duo is offered in two configurations: 8/128GB and 8/256GB. Although you can also find the Note 30 5G with 4GB RAM in its base model. And these phones boot on XOS 13 built on top of Android 13.

Camera

Moving to the optics, you get a triple camera setup on both smartphones. The vanilla Note 30 sports a 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary shooter, alongside a 2MP sensor and an AI QVGA unit. On the other hand, the 5G variant goes with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 main sensor while the rest of its camera setup remains the same. Similarly, there’s a 16MP selfie snapper on both these phones.

Battery, Charging, and Others

Fueling these smartphones is a 5,000mAh battery with 45W PD 3.0 fast charging and reverse wired charging support. Other features include 4G, 5G (only on Note 30 5G), WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, dual stereo speakers, and a microSD card slot.
