OPPO F35 and F35 Pro 5G Overview
Camera and Battery
Starting with the cameras, both the OPPO F35 5G and F35 Pro 5G come with a 50MP selfie camera with a focus on group selfies and wider framing. It also supports autofocus and a 100° field of view, which should be useful when you are taking selfies with more people. OPPO has also added an AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch that automatically widens the frame when more people are detected. So, you don't always have to stretch your arm or switch modes manually when taking group shots.

On the rear, the F35 Pro 5G gets a 50MP main camera with OIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera. Here, the OIS should help keep photos and videos steadier, especially in low light. Meanwhile, the regular F35 5G also has a 50MP main camera, but it is paired with a 2MP monochrome camera. So, the Pro gets a more versatile setup with an ultrawide lens while the regular model keeps things simpler.

In terms of battery, both phones pack a massive 8,000mAh cell with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OPPO claims up to 2.95 days of battery life on the F35 Pro 5G, so if you are someone who spends a lot of time watching videos, gaming, browsing social media, or simply wants a phone that can comfortably last through a busy day, the F35 series could be an option worth considering.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the OPPO F35 Pro 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX, while the regular F35 5G gets the Dimensity 6360 MAX. So, the Pro model should have an edge in overall performance, especially when you are switching between multiple apps or running more demanding tasks.

At the same time, both phones come with OPPO’s SuperCool VC System, but the Pro model gets a larger 5,000mm² vapor chamber compared to the 4,300mm² VC on the regular F35 5G. This larger cooling area should help the Pro manage heat better during demanding tasks and longer gaming sessions. So, if you are someone who spends a lot of time gaming on your phone, the F35 Pro 5G should have an advantage in keeping temperatures under control and maintaining more consistent performance.
In terms of memory and storage, the F35 Pro 5G comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The regular F35 5G, on the other hand, is available with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. So, apart from the chipset, the Pro also gets faster memory and storage, which should make a difference when loading apps and games or moving between different tasks.

On the software front, both phones run ColorOS 16. You also get several AI-powered features such as AI Eraser 2.0, AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Remover. OPPO is also promising long-term smoothness with up to six years of Smoothness Protection on the 8GB/256GB variant, while the lower variants get up to five years. Interestingly, OPPO also brings AI LinkBoost 4.0 to the series, which is designed to optimize connectivity when the network is weak or unstable.

Design and Display
Starting with the design, the OPPO F35 5G and F35 Pro 5G have noticeably different rear panels. The F35 Pro 5G gets a large rear camera island that somewhat resembles the iPhone 18 Pro Max, while the regular F35 5G has a camera layout that looks more similar to the vivo X300 FE. Moving on, the Pro model uses OPPO's Smile Curve Design with a one-piece cold-carved rear panel and comes in “Sunrise Orange”, “Wave Blue”, and “Twilight Brown”. Meanwhile, the regular F35 5G features a wave-inspired 3D back design and is available in “Wave Blue”, “Mist Pink”, and “Titanium Grey”.

For durability, both phones come with IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, which means they are well protected against dust and water in everyday use. The F35 Pro 5G also gets a Damage-Proof 360° Armour Body with an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame, collision beams, and additional cushioning for better drop resistance.

Up front, the F35 Pro 5G gets a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a sharper 1272 × 2772-pixel resolution and a faster 144Hz refresh rate. In comparison, the regular F35 5G has a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 × 2372-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. So, the Pro model should offer a sharper and smoother viewing experience, especially when scrolling through social media or playing games.

Both panels also support 10-bit color depth, but the Pro model offers 100% DCI-P3 coverage and reaches up to 1,800 nits in HBM mode, compared to 1,400 nits on the regular F35. This should give the Pro an edge in terms of colors and outdoor visibility, while the regular model still offers a smooth AMOLED experience for everyday use.
