      Infinix Note Edge Overview:

      Design and Display

Talking of the design, the Infinix Note Edge is impressively slim at just 7.2mm thick and weighs 185g, making it one of the sleeker phones in its segment. And it just feels so comfortable in the hands, too. On top of that, you get an IP65 rating too. Infinix ships this guy in four shades: Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black. Interestingly, every color has its own properties.

The Silk Green variant features a polyurethane water-wave texture inspired by silk, offering a smooth, leather-like feel. Other colors use high-strength composite materials with a cat’s-eye gem effect, creating layered matte finishes that change with light and angle.

On the front, you get a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It's got an ultra-slim 1.87mm symmetrical bezels, which give it a very modern look. So the overall day-to-day experience and content watching is a visual treat here.

The panel also supports a 2,800Hz touch sampling rate for smooth responsiveness. In terms of brightness, it reaches 4,500 nits at peak. And it's really bright outdoors. Lastly, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

      Performance

Under the hood, the Infinix Note Edge is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 SoC, a rebranded version of the Dimensity 7050 SoC. Hence, it is also built on a 6nm process. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. While not geared for hardcore gaming, it can easily manage everyday tasks and moderate gaming. A key feature is its software: the Note Edge runs XOS 16, based on Android 16, making it the first Infinix phone to run this version. You also get three major Android updates and five years of security patches. Additionally, it includes a customizable side button for quick access to Infinix’s Folax AI assistant.

      Camera, Battery, and Others

The camera setup on this phone is quite simple. It features a 50MP primary camera with a 1/2-inch sensor on the back, while the front camera is a 13MP unit. It misses out on an ultrawide unit, while the main and selfie cameras turn out to be decent enough for the price. Meanwhile, the battery capacity varies by market, with Infinix offering either a 6,500 mAh battery with 45W charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Should you buy the Infinix Note Edge?

The new Infinix Note Edge is a solid budget pick with a big battery and a bright 1.5K-resolution AMOLED display, and it handles everyday tasks well thanks to the Dimensity 7100 SoC. But at this very price bracket, there are two other worthy competitors: Nothing Phone (3a) Lite (review) and CMF Phone 2 Pro (review). Both stand out for their unique designs and more powerful Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC. The latter also houses a dedicated 2X telephoto lens. But if a sleek device is your pick, you can't go wrong with the Note Edge.
