Design and Display

In terms of looks, the Infinix Zero 40 5G model shares the same appearance as the 4G variant. Featuring a sleek and minimalist design with rounded corners, this phone is slightly heftier at 195g and has a thickness of 7.9mm. It is available in the same colors: Violet Garden, Blossom Glow, and Misty Aqua.

Regarding the display, the phone arrives with a 6.78-inch screen alongside slim bezels around the edges and a punch hole at the top. Moreover, the 5G version offers a refresh rate of 144Hz with a peak brightness of 1300 nits as compared to the 120Hz on the Zero 4G model. To ensure durability and scratch resistance, the phone gets Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Camera

For the camera setup, the Zero 40 5G model features a prominent, circular camera module on the back with three lenses positioned in a square arrangement. The main shooter here is a 108MP with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP AI lens. Upfront, there is a 120-degree ultrawide 50MP front-facing camera capable of shooting 4K video at 60FPS.

The company is collaborating with GoPro for this release, so, the Infinix ZERO 40 5G model also includes the GoPro Mode. This feature allows users to adjust GoPro settings directly from their phone, providing an easy and practical improvement to their shooting experience.

It features an octa-core CPU with one Cortex A78 core at 3100 MHz, 3 Cortex A78 cores at 3000 MHz, and 4 Cortex A55 cores at 2000 MHz. Additionally, the graphics side is handled by an Arm Mali-G610 graphics engine. In terms of memory and storage, this model offers 256B of storage and 12GB of RAM.
