To keep the thermals in check, there is a 6K Canopy VC liquid cooling system with an area of 6043mm². Complementing that, iQOO has also included its proprietary Q1 chip to boost gaming performance and run games at 144Hz with features like low latency frame insertion, superframe, and super-resolution. In terms of memory and storage, the phone is available in three variants: 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB.

      Display and Design

The Neo 9 Pro sports a 6.78-inch flat 8T OLED panel from BOE that can go up to 144Hz. It has a crisp 1.5K resolution with a pixel density of 452 ppi. Besides that, the panel supports HDR 10+ and can display over a billion colors.

The new iQOO Neo 9 Pro leaves behind the boxy camera island seen in its predecessors, instead opting for two individual roundish units. And to suit that fresh look, the device is available in Fiery Red, and Conqueror Black color options.

      Cameras

Moving on to the cameras, the new Neo 9 Pro features a dual rear setup led by a 50MP primary (w OIS) with Sony’s IMX920 sensor which is the same primary shooter found in Vivo's X100 smartphone.  Complementing that is an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, you get a 16MP selfie cam housed in the hole punch.

      Battery and Extras

Fueling the gaming beast is a large 5160 mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Extras include dual stereo speakers, IR blaster, WiFi 7, and NFC support. The phone boots on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
