Itel A60s launched in Nepal with 5000mAh battery and 8MP camera

In case you don’t know, Itel is not limited to making feature phones only. The Shenzen-based company also manufactures Android smartphones in a budget category. Mahalaxmi Mobiles Pvt Ltd, the official distributor of Itel products has launched the Itel A60s smartphone in Nepal. Design and Display

Beginning with the looks and build, the Itel A60s follows the common design language of the budget Android smartphones. You get an all-plastic build with a glass front. The rear panel boasts a glossy look and Itel ships this guy in four colors: Shadow Black, Sunshine Gold, Moonlit Violet, and Glacier Green.

Talking of the display, the A60s sports a 6.6-inch IPS panel with an HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels). As expected, the refresh rate is a static 60Hz here while the screen-to-body ratio is 83.0%.

Performance

Getting to the performance, the A60s houses an unnamed Unisoc Octa-core processor under the hood. Specs listing sites are pointing to an Unisoc SC9863A SoC. This 28nm fabbed silicon has four Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.6GHz and the rest four at 1.2GHz. Itel has paired it with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Camera

Moving on, the smartphone features a dual camera setup, headlined by an 8MP main sensor with an undisclosed AI lens. Over on the front, the dewdrop notch houses a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
