JBL has brought some much-welcomed improvements to this speaker. However, the difference in sound quality won't be that huge between this one and the previous iterations. Just like its predecessor, the JBL Xtreme 3 comes with a cylindrical design. It is IP67 water and dust resistant too. There are two loops in the upper part of the speaker. These are there so that one can easily insert a handy carrying strap, and carry the device around.
