JCB, a pioneer heavy equipment manufacturing company has revived its rugged phone lineup with two new devices, Toughphone and Toughphone Max. The British company released the original Toughphone back in 2007. And the new phones are coming with a MIL SPEC-810G rating and up to 1 month of battery standby. In this article, we’ll walk through the specs, features, and expected price of the JCB Toughphone and Toughphone Max in Nepal.

JCB Toughphone Max and Toughphone Overview:

Rugged Design

As the name implies, JCB Toughphone and Toughphone Max are all about toughness and sturdiness. Both phones are complied with the Military SPEC-810G standard, enabling them to withstand harsh conditions. The certification requires 29 standard tests, structured to mimic various environmental conditions, such as humidity, rainfall, vibration, shock, and low and high-pressure conditions.

To achieve this, JCB has used a hardened plastic frame and rear side with metal elements. Moreover, the phones also get Gorilla Glass protection with rubber rims for enhanced protection and factory-fitted glass screen protectors. On top of that, you get an IP68 rating and both siblings can get dipped into 1.5m of water for 30 minutes.
